Our shortest tour option provides an excellent introduction to Estonian history. We focus on selected highlights both at Toompea Hill and lower Old Town area to introduce the two sections of the historic centre. We will also showcase some quiet corners that you might not otherwise discover, where it’s blissfully easy to forget you are still in the UNESCO-listed old town visited daily by thousands of sightseers.

8:00 the cruise ship arrives
8:40- 8:55gathering time for the tour. We will meet you right outside the cruise terminal exit gate, which is located approx. 300 meters/0.2 miles/8-9 minutes walking from the ship. The cruise terminal exit gate is the meeting point for the independant operators.
9:00 the tour leaves
9:00- 9:15 transfer to Toompea Hill
9:15-10:30 We start from the Upper Old Town, a charming area that boasts with Toompea Castle; the medieval defensive towers Kiek in de Kök and Tall Hermann; two cathedrals: one dedicated to St. Mary and another to St. Alexander Nevsky; and two viewpoints offering nice views for picture taking. Enjoy the scenic stroll and the enthralling commentary from your tour guide.
10:30-12:15 the walking tour of Tallinn continues with a 30-40 minute long visit away from the main sites, yet still within the old city walls. The tranquil ambience is the main attraction here, competing with the some great stories and insights.
Next, we head towards the Town Hall Square that has been the hub of the city since the 13th century. Highlights along the route include the medieval merchants’ houses, Börsi Passage, the Great Guild Hall, Church of the Holy Spirit, the Town Hall and the Town Hall Pharmacy from 1422.
12:15 the guided walk ends at St. Catherine’s Passage, located close to the Town Hall Square
12:15-13:45 free time. Before saying goodbye to your guide, she is happy to share with you her insider tips on eating and shopping.
13:45- 14:00 pickup at Vene street, 3-4 minutes walking from St. Catherine’s Passage. Our driver will transfer you back to the cruise terminal.
14:00 the tour concludes at the cruise terminal gate
